However, after her flawless performance at WrestleMania 40, Samantha surprised the fans by not renewing her WWE contract. Four months later, she is now back to her first love, music. Going by the stage name 'Samantha The Bomb', she intends to start her singing career, hoping to bring the same fire and passion that endeared her to wrestling audiences.

Samantha Irvin: From WWE Announcer to Fan-Favorite Voice

Samantha's WWE rise had allure in its own right; she had been initially a musician and a wrestler-in-the-making when she was presented with a ring announcer position in 2021. She latched on to this chance and, in short order, became the darling of SmackDown and Raw. Her authoritative introductions, punctuated with personality delivered to Roman Reigns and Chelsea Green, became indispensable to WWE programming.

Her hallmark moment occurred during WrestleMania 40, when she announced Cody Rhodes' Undisputed WWE Championship victory with tears in her eyes. Even The Rock and The Undertaker recognized her emotional call. This moment, in conjunction with a symbolic torch-passing from Lilian Garcia, cemented her legacy.

Why She Left WWE and What Lies Ahead

For Samantha, success was not enough; She felt announcing was not her calling, and she wanted to pursue any other form of work within WWE, such as manager or general manager. But since the company did not view her in a different light, she chose to leave.

Now she is back into music with the release of her first single, Make Me, on February 14. Samantha hopes that the WWE fans are in her corner while she gradually makes the transition into her new passion. Her commitment to emotional and breathtaking performances will hopefully keep the fans coming back. Meanwhile, she says that music will take the foreground for a while, but she will soon be back in wrestling in a different capacity.
