Tim Wiese
has potentially made the biggest transfer move of his career. The former German goalkeeper has signed with professional wrestling's top brass, the
WWE (
World Wrestling Entertainment), and will be making his debut on November 3.
Wiese, who played six internationals for
Germany
had switches to wrestling in 2014 and since has been working hard towards it. After intensive gyming and workout sessions, he has added an impressive 38 kilos to fulfill the minimum weight requirement criteria.
This is not the first time that he will be appearing at a WWE event though. The 34-year-old made his first WWE appearance at a live event in Frankfurt in 2014 where he appeared as a guest timekeeper in front of a packed Munich crown. It was announced by the WWE that he will join Sheamus and Cesaro - currently in the middle of a tag-team angle - to form a six-man tag against "The Shining Stars" and Bo Dallas at the Olympiahalle.
"What a great way to make my debut!" Wiese said. "It's awesome to make my first WWE appearance in such a great match. I worked hard for this moment and I can't wait to step into the WWE ring together with Cesaro and Sheamus."

Triple H, who is the man in charge of WWE's developmental division welcomed the move. "As a former elite professional athlete, Tim knows what it takes to focus on a goal and go all-out to achieve it," the 13-time World Champion said. "It will be a historic night for WWE in Germany when Tim steps into the ring alongside Cesaro and Sheamus."
Wiese played 386 matches across tenures with Kaiserslautern, Hoffenheim, Werder Bremen and Fortuna Koln, with his last match dating back to 2013.
