Russo voiced his concerns, noting that LA Knight was recently inserted into the rivalry between Carmelo Hayes and Andrade without much focus on his own reign.

"LA Knight is a very very talented performer but if they don’t have a story for him, it’s gonna get old and it’s gonna get stale. That to me is what’s happening to LA Knight and it’s on LA Knight. LA Knight does not write the show bro. He’s depending on Hunter [Triple H], depending on creative. They need to feed him material. If they don’t feed him material, it’s gonna get stale."
