As much as our favorite WWE Superstars have impressed us with their in-ring prowess, some of them have an equally impressive educational background. While some of them chose to study management, some went on to hold a degree in history. These unique educational pursuits of these WWE Superstars unravel a different, never seen before sides of these fighters.
Here's a list of five such WWE wrestlers and their educational background.
1) Roman Reigns
The Former leader of The Bloodline stable initially had no dreams of becoming a professional wrestler. Although he belongs to the Anoa'i family who have produced successful WWE wrestlers over the years, Roman Reigns took a different career path initially when he joined Georgia Institute of Technology to major in Management studies. It was here in Georgia Tech where he also began playing football.
2) Bron Breakker
This WWE Intercontinental Champion in his first reign has a very interesting educational background. After having graduated from his high school, Bron Breakker joined Kennesaw State University at Georgia to pursue a degree in Criminal justice. Who would've thought the two- time NXT Champion would have such an interesting college degree!
3) AJ Lee
Although she is now more popularly known as the wife of WWE Superstar CM Punk,
AJ Lee is a professional WWE wrestler herself. But that's not all. She is also an author and a screenwriter too. This isn't all that surprising considering that she did pursue a college degree in film and television production when she attended college at NYU's Tisch School of Arts. Unfortunately, her family's financial issues forced her to drop out after just six months.
4) Nikki Cross
This list would've been incomplete without the mention of this Scottish professional wrestler and three- times WWE Women's Tag Team Champion, Nikki Cross. Nikki graduated with a degree in arts from University of Glasgow, and went on to pursue a masters degree (MA) in history from the University of Edinburgh. According to some sources, her master's dissertation was on Women's wrestling and she is currently pursuing her PhD.
5) Xavier Woods
This 12-time Tag Team Champion of WWE doesn't just have a shining career inside the wrestling arena, but an equally impressive educational background. After having graduated from Sprayberry High School in 2004, Woods went on to pursue a bachelor's degree in Philosophy and a master's degree in Psychology from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. According to some sources, he has also been pursuing a PhD in Educational Psychology from Capella University.
