Cora Jade’s Knockouts Championship match against Jordynne Grace comes to a sudden end

Unfortunately, on Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT, Cora Jade suffered an injury during her match with Jordynne Grace, which led to the end of the match. Cora was set to go against Masha Slamovich at TNA Sacrifice for the upcoming Knockouts Championship, but due to her injury, her status is now uncertain. The referee announced Grace as the winner of the match after Jade’s medical check-up. Her fans are worried and sending her love and support through social media.

Cora Jade's NXT match left her injured

On Tuesday's episode of NXT, Cora Jade went against Jordynne Grace, which ended abruptly due to Cora’s evident injury. She was set to face off against Masha Slamovich after this match, but her injury made it uncertain, leaving fans worried.

During the match, Jordynne started with a strong shoulder tackle against Cora Jade, knocking her down. But Jade fought back with a series of kicks, then jumped high and kicked Grace to the ground. Later in this intense match, Grace wisely pushed Jade into the corner. Meanwhile, the referee quickly signaled an “X,” calling the medical team for a check-up. After talking with the medical team, the referee decided to end the match, declaring Grace as the winner.


However, Slamovich was watching the whole match from the crowd and seemed worried about Cora's apparent injury before their big match. Due to Jade’s presumed injury, her status is now uncertain for the upcoming TNA Sacrifice match.

Cora Jade's courageous comeback to NXT

Last October, Cora Jade made her comeback appearance on WWE TV to help her friend Roxanne Perez gain victory against Giulia and retain the NXT Women's Championship title. Roxanne and Giulia’s match was special as it was the first time “NXT” was broadcast on the CW Network.




Cora had been away for a long time due to her injury, which occurred during a live match against Lyra Valkyria. Her injury was apparently very serious as, unfortunately, she tore a ligament in her knee. But her dedication and passion for wrestling couldn't keep her away from the ring. After her January 2024 injury, Jade wears a special brace on her knee to protect and stabilize her while she's competing. Her last match injury left WWE fans concerned, as the medical team didn't announce any specific information.

Jade made her debut on NXT and shortly gained momentum by forming a tag team with Roxanne Perez. She won the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship.
