In the match that took place on February 19, Rhodes faced McIntyre but was met with interference from Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, resulting in his defeat. Notably, as Rhodes made his way to the ring, he wore a noticeable smile while greeting fans in the front row.

Kevin Nash addressed this aspect of Cody Rhodes's entrance, stating, "This is something I gotta say. I'm not being hypercritical. Cody, you're gonna fight somebody, you can't walk down to the fing ring [smiling]. Dude, either you're selling toothpaste or you're gonna fight somebody, but that's not a fing warrior face."

Nash continued by advising Rhodes to adjust his facial expressions before entering the ring for a match. He emphasized the need for a more serious and focused demeanour, particularly considering the competitive nature of professional wrestling.

In contrast, Drew McIntyre, who faced Rhodes in the bout, approached the ring with a different expression. McIntyre sported a smirk as he made his entrance and maintained a serious and focused look once inside the ring, setting a contrasting tone to Rhodes' demeanour.
