The Stamford-based company had unveiled WWE 2K24 in January, creating anticipation among fans with Cody Rhodes featured on the Standard Edition cover and Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley gracing the Deluxe Edition. However, one notable absence from the roster caught the attention of the WWE Universe - CM Punk.

The 45-year-old wrestling veteran, currently sidelined due to a triceps injury sustained during the Men's Royal Rumble Match, addressed his exclusion from the game on Instagram. Punk shared a post featuring Marvel Comics' Dr. Doom with a humorous caption, providing a glimpse into his reaction to not finding himself on the WWE 2K24 roster.

"Doom looking at the @wwegames roster and not seeing @cmpunk," Punk wrote, showcasing his trademark wit and acknowledging his absence in a lighthearted manner.

CM Punk's absence from WWE 2K24 comes at a time when he is focused on recovering from his triceps injury, which necessitated surgery. Unfortunately, this setback has ruled him out of action for WrestleMania XL, adding an extra layer of disappointment for fans who were hoping to see him make a significant return on the grandest stage of them all.
