NEW DELHI:
WWE's SmackDown promises a high-stakes showdown as Charlotte Flair, one of the top babyfaces on the Women's roster, prepares to face off against
Asuka in an anticipated match next week. The rivalry between the SmackDown Women's top faces and Damage CTRL has been escalating, with each chapter bringing new intensity and fierce competition.
In the latest episode of SmackDown, Bianca Belair secured a significant victory over Kairi Sane, adding fuel to the ongoing conflict between the two factions.
Looking ahead, Charlotte Flair is set to step into the ring with The Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka.
WWE correspondent Cathy Kelley caught up with The Queen backstage on SmackDown Lowdown to get her thoughts on the upcoming match. Despite expressing respect for Asuka, Charlotte made it clear that their mutual admiration would not hinder the intensity of their in-ring encounter.
"I have all the love and respect for Asuka. But at the end of the day, I still have her number," Charlotte asserted. The Queen highlighted her historical advantage over Asuka in previous singles encounters, emphasizing her confidence heading into the upcoming clash.
"Regardless of whether Asuka is with Damage CTRL or not, when I'm in the ring with her, it's like iron sharpens iron. I'm ready for the match," Charlotte added. The stage is set for a fierce battle between these two formidable competitors, with Charlotte Flair determined to maintain her dominance over Asuka.
