WWE superstar Bayley is pushing for the return of an all-women’s pay-per-view event, Evolution. The inaugural show in 2018 was a groundbreaking moment in
WWE history, featuring top female talent such as
Becky Lynch,
Ronda Rousey, and Trish Stratus. Despite its critical acclaim, WWE has yet to host a follow-up event. However, Bayley believes the current women’s division has grown to new heights, making now the ideal time for Evolution 2. With more talent, new championship titles, and growing opportunities, the demand for another all-women's event has never been stronger.

At the WWE 2K25 Hands-On Event, Bayley shared her thoughts on the possibility of Evolution coming back with
ScreenRant. In the past, she served as a WWE Women's Champion, and being one of the longer-standing competitors in the division, she is genuinely thrilled about the event being women-exclusive again.
Bayley said, “That’s even more opportunities for [women’s wrestling] to be showcased, you know? There’s so much more to do, there are so many more goals for us, and now we have two more titles we can go after. I’ve been dying for an Evolution 2, and I think now is the perfect time".
The division has only grown bigger for women since the first evolution. With more female wrestlers on the roster than ever, Bayley even suggested that it could become a two-night spectacle like WrestleMania. She laid out the new partnership with TNA, which could bring in more fresh faces and exciting matches.
Why Now Is the Time for Evolution's Return
Since Evolution 2018, the Women's Division in WWE has continued to break barriers. The excitement for Evolution 2 can be enhanced due to new championships rather than just an effective pool of talents in NXT and the main roster. The original show was celebrated as a platform for doing nothing but high-quality matches, showing that an all-women show could thrive.
Bayley points out that they have never had a deeper and stronger roster, full of talents who want to put on an epic bout. With its inter-promotional partnerships, WWE has opened the door for dream matches that would dwarf the first Evolution. The promotion has a real chance to maximize another all-female event due to the public's demand and the growth of the women's division.

Will WWE Listen To Bayley's Call?
The question remains if WWE will take Bayley's appeal seriously. The successful execution of the original Evolution pay-per-view proved that an all-women event does have its place in WWE programming. With more female superstars, more championships, and increased fan support, there is a strong case for WWE to bring the Evolution back. If WWE chooses to listen to its female wrestlers and their fans, Evolution 2 may very well be the next defining event in women's wrestling history. Both fans and wrestlers are now waiting to see if WWE will run with the idea and make it happen.
