Adam Pearce announces WWE Women’s World Championship triple-threat match for SummerSlam 2025

Monday Night Raw General Manager Adam Pearce made a major announcement. During the brand’s latest episode, Pearce confirmed a triple-threat match for the WWE Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam 2025. Naomi will defend her recently acquired championship belt against Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky. Naomi cashed in her Money in the Bank during Evolution and entered the championship match between Ripley and Sky. She won the belt.Naomi recently moved from SmackDown to Raw. She is still in the state of cherishing her newly acquired title. In the recent episode of Raw, Naomi was confronted by Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley. Naomi’s interference during the Evolution was frustrating for both wrestlers. The trio got into a verbal argument when Adam Pearce interfered. The Raw General Manager announced a triple-threat match for SummerSlam 2025. In less than three weeks, Naomi will have to defend her title against Sky and Rhea.Pearce appreciated the match between Rhea and Sky at Evolution before making the announcement. “The magic has to be bigger, and it’s as big as the last night in Evolution. We need to blow the proverbial roof off the MetLife Stadium. And ladies, that’s exactly what we are gonna do. Because it will be Iyo Sky vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Naomi for the Women’s World Championship.” Pearce continued, “Ladies, you are gonna make magic at SummerSlam.”The main event of Evolution 2025 was between Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky. The duo were battling against each other for the Women’s World Championship. Both wrestlers gave their all in. It was one of the best matches in recent times. Sky was defending the title against Ripley. The then-champion had won it against Ripley herself. While both wrestlers were going head-on against each other, the final minutes saw a shocking twist. Naomi cashed in her Money in the Bank to enter the match. She attacked the already exhausted Ripley and Sky and went on to win the match. Naomi became the new WWE Women’s World Champion. Ripley was quite close to getting her first career win against Sky. This makes the series of events involving Naomi even more frustrating for Ripley. Now, both Rhea and Sky have an opportunity to fight for the belt once again. Naomi, despite winning the championship belt, lost her scheduled match to Jade Cargill.
