A new match has now been added to the NXT Heatwave showdown

WWE NXT has a fantastic show in store for the fans and the excitement from the crowd has only grown as we continue to get closer to NXT Heatwave, airing this Sunday. This will be a stacked weekend for WWE fans as they will get to enjoy Smackdown on Friday, Money in the Bank on Saturday, and finally NXT Heatwave on Sunday.

Thanks to the events that unfolded during the match between Karmen Petrovich and Jazmyn Nyx. We will now get to see an extra tag-team match during the Countdown show for NXT Heatwave. Let’s take a look at the new bout that has got the fans excited.

Karmen Petrovich has an unusual partner for her fight against Jazmyn Nyx and Jayce Jane

During her fight against Nyx, Karmen was extremely close to victory, but a last-minute interference from Jacy Jane turned the match on its head. With a little help from her cohort, Nyx swooped in and pinned Petrovich down to win the match. Afterward, Karmen stepped in to speak to General Manager Ava, who announced that she’d be a part of the NXT Heatwave event.

Just before her match, Karmen had been spotted backstage having a conversation with fellow Canadian star, Arianna Grace. The two were visibly frustrated about the fact that they’d been left out of NXT Heatwave, even though the event would be taking place in their hometown. Thanks to Ava, they won’t have much reason to complain now.

The GM has decided that Karmen Petrovich and Arianna Grace will form a team and take on Jacy Jane and Jazmyn Nyx on the countdown show to NXT Heatwave. An unusual pairing for Petrovich, who the fans expected to see next to her mentor, Natalya. It is now important for her and Grace to get on the same frequency if they hope to win.

NXT Heatwave is stacked with a ton of quality showdowns

With the addition of Petrovich and Grace’s match, fans will now be looking forward to watching seven star-studded matchups in the countdown to and during NXT Heatwave. There’s the fatal four-way championship match between Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, Ethan Page, and Shawn Spears.

We will also get to see Roxanne Perez and Lola Vice fight it out for the Women’s NXT Championship belt. Oba Femi and Wes Lee are also set to fight it out for the NXT North American Championship title. There will also be a showdown for the NXT Tag Team Championship belt and the Women’s NXT North American Championship belt.

If this lineup of stars performs up to their expected levels, we could end up seeing a bunch of them etch their name in the history books by claiming victory this Sunday. Karmen Petrovich and Arianna Grace also have the opportunity to show up in front of their home crow. Hopefully, the newly formed Tag Team can give the fans a good show. NXT Heatwave is all set to take over TV this Sunday.
