NEW DELHI: WWE Superstars continue to entertain fans with their athleticism and storytelling prowess, the unpredictable nature of professional wrestling has already taken a toll on several stars in the early weeks of 2024.
Injuries, a harsh reality of the sport, have forced some prominent names to the sidelines, raising concerns about their future in the ring.

Here are four WWE Superstars who unfortunately suffered injuries at the beginning of this year:
4. WWE NXT star Cora Jade:
Cora Jade, who recently returned with a new look and darker persona, faced an unfortunate setback during an NXT live event in Florida.
Wrestling against Lyra Valkyria, the match came to an abrupt halt when Cora Jade was powerbombed, resulting in a torn left knee ACL. The NXT star is expected to be sidelined for several months.
3 and 2. Carmelo Hayes and Austin Theory:
A high-stakes match on WWE SmackDown took an unexpected turn for Carmelo Hayes and Austin Theory. A botched move during their one-on-one encounter led to Carmelo's head colliding with Austin Theory's, causing both stars to suffer face contusions.

Carmelo Hayes has reportedly recovered and competed on this week's NXT, but Austin Theory's status remains uncertain as he is reportedly in medical protocol.
1. WWE RAW star Seth Rollins:
Seth Rollins, known as WWE's workhorse, faced a potential setback after defending his title against Jinder Mahal on a recent episode of RAW. Despite retaining the World Heavyweight Championship, Rollins was seen having difficulty walking during his post-match address to the crowd.
Reports suggest that he may have tweaked his left knee, prompting a scheduled MRI. Results are expected to be disclosed to the Stamford-based promotion on Wednesday or Thursday morning.
