WWE Royal Rumble 2025 has announced a line-up full of top-tier superstars for the Men’s Rumble match. In light of recent events, the WWE Universe can expect some shocking things that can take place in the match.
WWE Royal Rumble will be presented as the first Premium Live Event of 2025 for the company in the new year. One of the most exciting events of the year, it is set to take place in the state of Indianapolis at the Lucas Oil Stadium on February 1st with some of the biggest names announced for the event.
One of the biggest highlights of the events will be the Men’s Rumble match. The 30-man over-the-top-rope melee will feature stars like John Cena, Roman Reigns, CM Punk and Seth Rollins. With the event drawing closer and the events leading up to it, here are the five shocking things the fans can expect from the Men’s Rumble match this year:

Zilla Fatu has been making waves on the independent circuit and is one of the top prospects in Reality of Wrestling. The son of late WWE legend Umaga, Zilla Fatu has proved himself to be a remarkable in-ring competitor. Moreover, he even wrestled WWE Hall of Famer Booker T in the promotion which garnered major attention for the young prospect. WWE could add this Bloodline to the mix and have him debut in the 2025 Royal Rumble match much to the shock of the audience.

The Rock kicked off the RAW on Netflix era on its debut episode in Los Angeles. The same night, he saw his former rival, Cody Rhodes, make amends with Roman Reigns and present Roman Reigns with the Ula-Fala following his win over Solo Sikoa in the Tribal Combat. Moreover, The Rock promised to take the fans on another exciting ride the next night at the NXT New Years Evil event. This makes it a strong possibility that he could next appear as a surprise entrant in the Men’s Rumble, using his influence as a TKO Board member and also possibly turning on Roman Reigns to kick off their rumoured feud for WrestleMania 41.

The fans' sentiments are strongly in support of John Cena winning the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumbl,e which will be his last Rumble match as part of his farewell tour. However, WWE can disappoint the fans, much like they have done in previous Rumble matches, by booking Cena to lose the match which could be a major shocker for the Cenation who would hoping to see him win and go to WrestleMania 41 to chase his 17th World title.
