3 Reasons Why The Bloodline 2.0 Must Defeat Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns At Bad Blood

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns have joined forces to take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood. Although they are heavy favorites, it is best for WWE that the Bloodline duo should win to boost Solo's career, keep the storyline engaging, and possibly set up future high-stakes matches like a WrestleMania clash.

An unprecedented alliance was built on last SmackDown, when Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns joined hands to go against the Bloodline duo of Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, at Bad Blood. Even in our wildest dreams, we couldn't have thought of this alliance between Cody and Roman, who were archrivals just six months ago. On paper, they are the heavy favorites against Solo and Jacob Fatu, but the need of the hour is a little different.
Here are 3 reasons why we think the Bloodline duo must defeat Cody and Roman at Bad Blood
1.Neither of Roman or Cody Needs A Push At This Point
Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are the two biggest superstars of not just WWE, but of the entire Pro Wrestling industry. They can sell tickets at any given arena and at any point of time. Therefore, the current and former WWE Champions do not really need the win against the Bloodline duo at this point of their careers. Rather, their counterpart Solo Sikoa is in dire need of victory against a bigger superstar to solidify his stature in the company. Also a win would do wonders for the “Enforcer” Jacob Fatu’s career, going ahead.
2. The Bloodline Will Outnumber Cody and Roman.
Even when Roman Reigns was the Bloodline leader and was the “Only Tribal Chief”, he never fought any big battle without his Bloodline team members interfering. Similarly, Solo has followed the same path and has always had the help of his new Bloodline recruits, whenever he is in trouble. Therefore, it would only be apt that the Bloodline goes over Roman and Cody, as they will be outnumbered, and no one would be surprised if they lose in that scenario. Although, that is applicable only if no one comes to help Roman and Cody in between the match. There have been rumors of Jimmy Uso making a comeback at Bad Blood to confront Solo and in that case, Roman and Cody’s win would make more sense.

3. To Keep the Storyline Moving.
The match at Bad Blood will be more about who is the real or Only Tribal Chief of the Bloodline. So, if Roman and Cody come out victorious, they wouldn’t be much to look forward to in this storyline. Even if Roman is looked at as the eventual Tribal Chief, he should not be handed the “Ula Fala” and the title of the Only Tribal Chief so early in this feud. Looking at the popularity of this rivalry, it is worthy of a WrestleMania clash too, so it will only be fitting to make the Bloodline come up trumps against Cody and Roman at Bad Blood. Not only will it keep the rivalry alive, but it would also provide more opportunities to keep it moving at the same pace.
