3 Possible endings that could cause furore in the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 41

Hollywood superstar and 16 time WWE World Champion John Cena is set to collide against the “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes at Wrestlemania 41’s main event for the Undisputed WWE Championship. After Cena’s villainous act at the end of the Elimination Chamber(by the orders of the Final Boss, The Rock), this match has become all the more mouth-watering and has all the eyes of the world on it.

Here are three surprise finishes of this match that could create a huge uproar among fans

1. John Cena defeats Cody with the help of The Rock

In a humongous and shocking turn of events, John Cena attacked Cody Rhodes after winning the Elimination Chamber match, that too on the orders of the “Final Boss”, Rock. After Cody vehemently denied obeying the commands of Rock, much to everyone’s surprise and disdain, it was Cena who decided to align with the “Great One”, who is his old foe and delivered a brutal message to the world and Cody, by leaving him in a pile of his own blood. If The Rock interferes in Cena’s match against Cody and helps him win the Undisputed Championship at Wrestlemania, it would be a bigger shock then Cody defeating Roman at the grandest stage of them all last year. This would also complete the revenge for the Final Boss after last year’s humiliation at the hands of the “American Nightmare”.

2. Cody defies all odds

Although the odds are heavily stacked against the American Nightmare and the Pundits believe that he’s going to lose his Undisputed Championship at the hands of Cena, the son of late Great Dusty Rhodes is known to rise like a phoenix, when the chips are down. Even though Cena has the support of the Final Boss and Travis Scott alongside him, Cody has risen to the occasions when his back is against the wall, most of the times after his return to WWE in 2022. He has managed to defend his World Championship throughout 2024, after winning it against Roman at last year’s Wrestlemania. If Cody indeed manages to defend it once again against “The Champ” John Cena, he would definitely cement his place as one of the upcoming legends of the industry, without a doubt.

3. Outside interferences

Just like the main event of Wrestlemania XL, where legends like The Undertaker, Cena himself (ironically) and Seth Rollins had to interfere to even the odds for Cody against the Bloodline of Roman and Rock, we might see a couple of interventions this time around too. Ric Flair, who along with Cena holds the record for the most World Championships(16) does not want Cena to capture the coveted 17th World Championship, and might make an appearance during the bout. Similarly, there are chances of the likes of Orton, The Undertaker and the Final Boss himself, coming to tilt the balance of the match. This would complete a full Circle of events after the huge upset in the Wrestlemania XL night 2 Main event.
