Aryna Sabalenka secured her fourth Grand Slam title at the 2025 US Open, defeating American Amanda Anisimova 6-3, 7-6(3) in the final on Saturday, September 6. The World No. 1 celebrated her victory with her team, family, and boyfriend Georgios Frangulis in the stands, sharing a warm embrace and kiss after the match.
The match, lasting one hour and 34 minutes, showcased Sabalenka's dominance as she successfully defended her US Open crown. She broke Anisimova's serve five times while recording 13 winners and 15 unforced errors throughout the contest.

This victory marked a significant milestone for Sabalenka, who had faced disappointments earlier in 2025. She had lost to Madison Keys in the Australian Open final and fell short against Coco Gauff in the French Open championship match.
The win also served as redemption for Sabalenka, who had previously lost to Anisimova in the Wimbledon semifinals. The Belarusian dropped to her knees in celebration after securing the final point.

Sabalenka's achievement makes her the first women's player to successfully defend a US Open title since Serena Williams' three consecutive victories from 2012 to 2014. This victory adds to her growing collection of Major titles, which includes her previous US Open triumph in 2024 against Jessica Pegula and Australian Open victories in 2023 and 2024.
The celebration was made more special by the presence of her boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis, a Brazilian entrepreneur who founded Oakberry in 2016. The couple's relationship became public in April 2024, and Frangulis has since become a regular presence at Sabalenka's matches.
