Tamil Nadu boys do well at MCC junior nationals

Girls' top seed Prinkle Singh had a lapse in concentration in the second set but regrouped fast to oust Bakthi Shah of Telengana 6-0, 5-7, 6-2 in two and half hour match.

SM Aditya of Tamil Nadu outlasted the tenth seed Divesh Gahlot of Haryana in 3 well fought sets to create upset. Two other talented Tamil nadu boys VM Sandeep and Deepak Senthil kumar won in contrasting styles.

Sandeep outplayed Subash Paramasivam in straight sets while Deepak Senthilkumar managed to edge out Nihkil Niranjan of Karnataka in 3 close sets.

The event has now moved to the pre quarter final stage.
