India's top ATP-ranked player Rohan Bopanna sailed into the finalsof the $25,000 Bukhara Challenger in Uzbekistan with an impressive 6-1, 6-2victory over fifth seed Russian Mikhail Ledovskikh. Qualifier Bopanna continuedthe same form that saw him beat seventh seed in the quarterfinals on Thursday.Ledovskikh is ranked 312 in the world. After two tough qualifyingmatches, Bopanna beat seventh seed Gouichi Motomura in the quarterfinals. TheJapanese Davis Cupper had beaten him twice earlier, so the 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 victorymust've been very satisfying. Bopanna now meets top seed JankoTipsarevic, who beat Paul Baccanello 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. In the doubles, Bopanna inpartnership with Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi of Pakistan, lost to Nicolas Renavaud andNicholas Tourte 6-2, 3-6, 8-10.
