Paes-Robredo in Hamburg Masters quarters

HAMBURG, May 14: Leander Paes and Tommy Robredo held their nerves in the super-tie breaker to stun third seed Israeli duo of Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram to book a quarter-final berth in the euro 2,270,000 Hamburg ATP Master Series event on Wednesday.
The unseeded Indo-Spanish pair beat their formidable opponents 6-3, 4-6, 10-2 in a second round match.
Mahesh Bhupathi and his partner Mark Knowles had lost 2-6, 3-6 against the American pair of James Blake and Mardy Fish in the pre-quarterfinal tie on Tuesday.
