Katerina Siniakova, from the Czech Republic, reached an impressive milestone on Sunday by securing her 10th Grand Slam women's doubles title at the Australian Open, alongside her American partner, Taylor Townsend.

The top-seeded pair, who are also the current Wimbledon champions, emerged victorious in a thrilling three-set encounter against Taiwan's Hsieh Su-wei and Latvia's Jelena Ostapenko, winning 6-2, 6-7 (4/7), 6-3 on Rod Laver Arena.

This triumph cements Siniakova's position as one of the greatest doubles players, while Townsend celebrated her second major title since partnering with Siniakova, the world's top-ranked doubles player.
