MUMBAI: Perseverance they say is the mother of all success and Jeevan Neduncheziyan took just 65 minutes to prove it.
The sixth seeded Indian kept his perfect 4-0 record in the finals after dismissing an erratic Mate Pavic of Croatia 6-1, 6-1 to clinch the CCI-ITF Futures title on Saturday.
Jeevan's previous three wins came against compatriots Vishnu Vardhan, N.

Sriram Balaji and Marc Giner of Spain at the Pune, Kolkata and Madurai events respectively.
It was a morale-boosting win for Jeevan, who pocketed 27 ATP ranking points and a cool $1,950 in prize money, having sustained a twisted ankle at the Gandhinagar Futures in early August and a subsequent muscle tear in Iran just a week later.
"This has been a great season so far, barring the injuries. Winning all four finals that I entered is a big thing. Now I will concentrate more on singles as I am happy with my game, serving and feel more fresh," said a jubilant Jeevan later.
The 24-year-old started on a jittery note with Pavic earning a break point in the very first game before the former held his serve. But Jeevan got more alert thereafter to break his rival in the second and sixth games to take the first set 6-1.

Pavic seemed to have no clue about Jeevan's baseline returns and volleys.
In the second set too, the Chennai lad took no time to break his opponent in the first game and go 2-0 up holding his serve. With a seemingly nervous Pavic committing one error after another, it was just a cakewalk for the national champion.
Jeevan broke Pavic in the fifth game to take the set and rushed to his mom Kalyani for a hug before lifting the title.
Expressing sympathy for his 19-year-old competitor, Jeevan said: "It was his (Pavic's) first final and it was clear he was nervous. I could empathize with him as I had also gone through a similar feeling when I lost to Vijay Kannan five years ago... But I took advantage of that and made him commit many unforced errors."
Result (Men's singles final): 6-Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan (IND) bt Mate Pavic (CRO) 6-1, 6-1.
