Throughout his dazzling career as a sprinter, the iconic Jamaican has been defined by his flamboyance, supreme self-belief and a high degree of cheekiness. Each of these features is unmistakably on display in this frame. At first glance, it appears Bolt is actually posing sideways even as he flies ahead. His look is almost otherworldly. The 29-year-old superstar has enough time to flash a fairly decent set of teeth - Is it a smile or a grimace? - while lesser mortals struggle to summon that extra ounce of energy required to mount a decent challenge.
