Michael Phelps's 'death stare' to Chad le Clos is now a 'Darth Vader' tattoo
If you are a Michael Phelps fan, you must remember the death stare he gave to his rival Chad Le Clos a few days ago.
Now, that death stare is going to live forever, thanks to a Canadian fan. Ricky Fung, who owns a tattoo parlour in Toronto decided to get Phelps' expression on his leg. And his employee, Livia Tsang, who inked this Darth Vader tattoo, did an excellent job.
In this video, the America's legend Olympian can be seen giving a 'Grumpy Cat' expression to rival Rival Chad le Clos of South Africa shortly before going for 200-meter butterfly. Chad le Clos can be seen shadowboxing in front of Phelps and he doesn't look impressed. At all.
Phelps' expression led to a series of memes on social media and he was compared to the likes of Darth Vader and Eminem. Here are some you can't miss:
In 2012, Phelps could only manage silver as Le Clos beat the American to take the gold. This time around, Michael Phelps captured his 20th Olympic gold medal in devastating fashion, crushing rival Chad le Clos to regain his 200 metres butterfly title. Phelps has won a total of 22 golds so far.
