Interesting races in final round of racing championship Chennai, Sep 26 () The stage is set for some interesting races in the final round of the MRF MMSC FMSCI National Motorcycle Racing Championship 2019 at the MMRT in nearby Sriperumbudur this weekend with as as many as 18 races set to decide the winners. With double points being awarded for this fifth and final round, there is a lot riding on the races, especially for the frontrunners. The National Championship, comprising Pro-Stock category (200-300cc, 301-400cc and 165cc) which will no doubt headline the weekend, Novice (Stock 165cc) and Girls (Stock 165cc), are all set for close finishes with not much separating the top riders on the leaderboard, in terms of points. For the manufacturers TVS, Honda, Yamaha and KTM there is plenty to gain from this weekend. The situation is much the same in the TVS One-Make Championship that has three categories in Open (RR 310), Novice and Girls (RTR 200), and also the Idemitsu Honda India Talent Cup NSF 250R (FIM Moto3-spec) and CBR 150 (Novice). In the Pro-Stock 165cc, IDEMITSU Honda Ten10 Racing India rider Rajiv Sethu is on top with 150 points following six straight wins. In second spot with 126 points is team-mate Sarath Kumar. Making Hondas pitch stronger are K. Kannan (4th), Yashas R.L (6th) and Arvind B (10th). Armed with 304 points and 94 points margin, Honda Ten10 Racing team is all charged to grab its 5thconsecutive triple crown victory this weekend. In the Pro-Stock 201-300 category, 12 riders from 5 teams will wage the battle for supremacy in PS 201-300cc class.
