What made Sunday's Italian Grand Prix more interesting were the fans. Sebastian Vettel was booed by passionate Ferrari fans after the German won the Italian Grand Prix. The fans cheered for Spaniard Fernando Alonso of Ferrari (their home team) who finished in the second position.
This wasn't the first instance that Vettel faced such reaction from the crowd.

Earlier this year at Silverstone, he was jeered by the crowd. One of the reasons behind this was that he did not follow the team orders at Malaysian GP and overtook his partner Mark Webber to finish first.
Cheers or jeers is what makes sports more fun and exciting. Digs, boos, jeers make for good TV but ask the guy at the receiving end. It tests one's patience and mental strength. There have been various instances where individuals have been booed really bad. Here's a list of some such moments...
Luis Figo: When he returned to Barcelona, fans constantly booed Figo for the entire game, and even threw objects at him during a corner kick. Things got really out of hand when one fan threw a pig's head on to the pitch.
Wayne Rooney: England fans booed Wayne Rooney and the rest of his squad after they finished their opening round game against Algeria with a draw in the 2010 World Cup. Rooney wasn't too appreciative of the gesture, and told the chasing cameras, "Nice to see your home fans boo you, that's loyal supporters."
David Warner: During this year's Ashes, he was in the news for all the wrong reasons. After punching Joe Root at a night club, Warner instantly became the villain among the British public. As a result, he was greeted by boos from the Manchester crowd as he came to the crease during the third Test match. He faced just 10 balls before being caught for five runs. Warner was then booed all the way back to the pavilion.

Lebron James: When LeBron James returned to his former team Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavalier fans showed him what they exactly thought of his decision to move back.
Yuvraj Singh: When Mumbai Indians lost to Kings XI Punjab in 2008 at Mumbai during the first edition of IPL, Yuvraj Singh and S Sreesanth were booed as they came out of the dressing room for the award ceremony. This didn't quite go down well with Yuvraj, who spoke about the feeling of alienation at the press conference. "I don't appreciate people talking or behaving rudely with Indian players. I didn't like it when Sreesanth, Irfan and Piyush were not treated properly. We have played for India and have played here," he said.
Virat Kohli: He shared the same fate as Yuvraj in the sixth edition of IPL in 2013. Despite Mumbai Indians winning the match, the crowd did not spare Royal Challengers Bangalore captain. Kohli did not attend the presentation ceremony out of annoyance and said the crowd forgot that he also plays for India. Later he was caught on video, which went viral on the net, abusing a section of the crowd in frustration.
Usain Bolt: He recently revealed that he thought of quit his sprinting career after being booed by his home fans for pulling out of a race in 2006.
