Among the beneficiaries is wrestler Vinesh Phogat, who has been granted financial support for her participation in a competition and training camp in Madrid, Spain, and a subsequent training camp in Boulogne sur-Mer, France.

Phogat's schedule includes competing in the Grand Prix in Spain in July, followed by a training period in the same country, before moving to France for a 20-day training stint in preparation for the Olympics.

Additionally, the MOC has approved international training camps for Indian pistol shooter Arjun Cheema, who will undergo an 11-day training session in Austria. Paralympic javelin throwers Ajeet Singh and Sandeep Choudhary are set to train in Germany at the Leichtathletik Gemeinschaft Offenburg Centre and LAZ Zweibrucken EV Centre, respectively. Singh's training, under the guidance of German coach Werner Daniel, will last for 45 days, while Choudhary will spend 41 days training under coach Uwe Hohn in the lead-up to the Paralympics.

The committee has also endorsed Pranav Soorma's participation in the Para Athletics Championship in Krusevac, Serbia, under the Target Olympics Podium Scheme (TOPS), including a 10-day training camp at the same venue.

Further approvals include support for triple jumper Eldhose Paul to compete in the Meeting Nikaia in France, boxer Lovlina Borgohain in the Grand Prix- Czech Republic International Tournament, and table tennis players Sreeja Akula and Manika Batra in various international competitions.

The MOC has also sanctioned wrestler Antim Panghal's plea for financial aid covering her coach's boarding and lodging expenses during the UWW 2nd Ranking Series and a training camp at the Olympic Training Centre in Tata, Hungary. Badminton players Rakshitha Sree and Anmol Kharab received support to compete in the Kaohsiung Masters (BWF super 100) event.

In a move to bolster the country's sports talent, the MOC has elevated five athletes from the development group to the core group under the TOPS. The promoted athletes include boxers Nishant Dev, Jaismine Lamboria, and Preeti Pawar, as well as table tennis players Manav Thakkar and Archana Kamath, marking a strategic step towards enhancing India's competitive edge in international sports.
