A lot of cricket loving youngsters approached him when he went for a stroll on Assi Ghat and took his autograph on their cricket bats. According to Mrityunjay Tripathi, Indian cricketer and former UP Ranji Trophy coach, who hosted Wriddhiman during his visit, “This was his second visit to the city but he wants to come again as he loves Banaras. He made sure to taste the super delicious Banarasi mithai and rabari. Infact, he got some rabri packed to take it back home.”
