Hasin Jahan has been named in a police FIR along with her daughter Arshi Jahan following a violent altercation with a neighbour in Suri, West Bengal. The complaint, filed by Dalia Khatoon, includes serious charges such as attempted murder, criminal conspiracy, and assault.
The incident reportedly took place in the Sonator area of Ward No. 5 under Suri Municipality, Birbhum district, over a disputed plot of land registered in the name of Arshi Jahan, Hasin's daughter from her first marriage. Tensions erupted when Hasin allegedly began construction on the land, which Dalia claimed was under legal dispute.

SUBSCRIBE NOW!A video of the scuffle went viral on social media, showing Hasin Jahan in a black T-shirt and jeans clashing physically with her neighbour. Locals claimed that the altercation turned violent, with Dalia suffering a head injury and requiring hospitalisation at Suri Sadar Hospital.
Dalia alleged that both Hasin and her daughter attempted to kill her during the confrontation. In response, an FIR was lodged against them at Suri Police Station. Hasin also filed a counter-complaint against Kazi Farzuddin, the husband of a local Trinamool councillor.
The West Bengal Police confirmed that a case has been registered and an investigation is underway. No arrests have been made yet. Officials said they are reviewing the viral video and gathering witness statements.
Watch viral video:Adding to the controversy, local residents submitted a mass petition demanding strict action against Hasin, accusing her of repeatedly threatening neighbours and using foul language.
Hasin Jahan has not commented on the allegations yet.
