A lot of planning went into
Yuvraj Singh and
Hazel Keech’s wedding celebrations. The two tied the knot on Wednesday afternoon at a gurdwara in Chandigarh. Initially, Udaipur was decided as the venue, but was later changed to Chandigarh at the behest of Yuvi’s guru, who advised the couple to start their journey from Chandigarh. Two dinners were planned – one on Tuesday after the mehendi and the ring ceremony, and the other on Wednesday.
This was done keeping in mind the outcome of the match between India and England in Mohali. Since the match ended on its fourth day, the cricketers were relaxed for Tuesday’s celebrations. Had the match stretched to the fifth day, the Wednesday party would have come in the picture.
With India winning the match with a day to spare, the players are believed to have attended yesterday’s quiet wedding. Apparently, the guest list had gone up from 200 to 300. Among the expected guests was actress Anushka Sharma, though no confirmation came till the time of going to press.

Indian cricketers made their presence felt at Tuesday night’s celebrations. Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Umesh Yadav, Amit Mishra, Anil Kumble, Parthiv Patel, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane and Mohammed Shami were among the invitees
