A social media user highlight some sagely advice from former India cricketer Dinesh Karthik that they came across in a book. The user by the name Manoj Nayak posted a snippet from a notebook that quoted the cricketer that is popularly referred to as 'DK'.
In the image, it says, "Finish the sentence: A wise man once told me..." followed by a handwritten scribble, "Wanna kick a** just like
Dinesh Karthik did? Live life like there's no tomo [tomorrow]! - A millenial [sic] who's seen it all and wants so much more."
The post on X had the caption, "You have earned it @DineshKarthik. This is beautiful to see. We love you DK."
The former India wicketkeeper-batter responded to it by saying, "Go for it my brother. Good luck."

Karthik known for his grit, adaptability, and longevity, made his international debut in 2004 as a wicketkeeper-batter, he has worn many hats for Team India over two decades — from a specialist keeper to a middle-order finisher and, at times, a top-order aggressor.
Karthik’s career has been marked by comebacks, most famously his match-winning knock in the 2018 Nidahas Trophy final, where his last-ball six became an iconic moment in Indian T20 history.
Domestically, he has been a stalwart for Tamil Nadu and a key figure in the IPL, leading sides like Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and contributing crucial runs under pressure.
Beyond his on-field contributions, Karthik has emerged as a respected commentator and analyst, earning praise for his sharp cricketing insight and articulate delivery.
