Asian Games’ medalist and HRC student Ramita Jindal: I love accounting and shooting

Ramita Jindal, a third-year B.Com (Hons) student of Hansraj College secured two medals at the Hangzhou Asian Games recently. Ramita secured a silver in the women's 10m air rifle team and an individual bronze at the same event. “I love both - studying and shooting. Both need focus so it helps me to manage. I am not able to go to college regularly. It is also not possible for me since the camp is in Delhi, coaching is in Chennai and then international matches.I usually go only for exams,” she told us on the sidelines of the felicitation ceremony in the city for Asian Games medalists.
“It was my first Asian Games and I can’t explain in words how I am feeling. I feel incredible seeing everyone around me so proud of me. My parents are very happy, they cried when I got the medal. I have a joint family so they were on a video call and all of them were excited to talk to me,” shared Ramita.
