"Why Do You Always Pick The Tallest Guy?" scared J. T. Miller's wife, Natalie Miller, voiced her worry in the Never Offside with Julie & Cat show

In the 4 Nations Face-Off, New York Rangers forward Jonathan Tanner Miller (short, J. T. Miller) got into a brawl with St. Louis Blues defenseman Colton Parayko, who is 6 ft 8 in tall! The brawl made NHL WAG Natalie Miller feel spooked and spellbound. "Why, why, why!" were her thoughts. "You don't want to pick somebody smaller than you, so that's fine. But really, six-eight? I would love to see a statistical sheet of who my husband has fought and why are they all over six-five." J. T. Miller's height is 6 ft 1 in, and he picked Colton Parayko, who is 6 ft 8 in, for a brawl during the 4 Nations Face-Off!

"How do you deal with seeing your husband in the news all the time? Especially with the (NHL) Trade? The trade deadline, 4 Nations, everything." asked Cat Toffoli, NHL WAG of Tyler Toffoli, forward for the San Jose Sharks.


Natalie Miller, the NHL WAG of J. T. Miller, shared, "It's expected in that media out in Vancouver. It's their world out there. They love their hockey players. It makes it one of the greatest places to play because they are so die-hard. I can't help but see it because I'm on social media, and he (J. T. Miller) isn't. He just kinda put his head down, did his job, tried to focus on the sport. I feel like, after 13 years, well, you all kind of get used to it. The 4 Nations (Face-Off) break was nice because it's not talking about the trade. It was a nice buffer, and now we're just back in New York, back in MSG."


Talking about the 4 Nations Face-Off, Natalie Miller expressed, "It was the coolest tournament I've ever seen. It was the coolest thing to experience with my children." She also shared that J.T. Miller called 4 Nations Face-Off as his Super Bowl - "One of the coolest things that I'll probably do in my career."

Brawl: Team USA's J. T. Miller fought with Team Canada's Colton Parayko during the 4 Nations Face-Off 2025. Matthew Tkachuk of the Team USA had said, "We needed to send a message."



"I wish I was sitting near you during that USA-Canada game. How was your heart rate?" asked Cat Toffoli.


Natalie Miller shared, "Oh my God. It was insane. You could barely hear anything because of the booing. Because I feel they just booed the whole time, which I get it, but yeah, it was the intensity in there was insane."


"JT getting in on. There was one fight, there was two fights, and there was three fights. So, J. T. Miller got his say in there, too! As a fan watching, I can only imagine what you, his wife, like, you know you're trying to recover from the first five seconds of the game, and then he steps in." asked Julie Petry, NHL WAG of Jeff Petry, defenseman for the Detroit Red Wings.


Natalie chuckled and replied, "Yeah, I swear the crowd stood for like - 15 minutes. I literally was - are we going to - oh, we're not okay, we're not sitting, all right."


"When he got in that fight, what was your immediate reaction?" asked Cat Toffoli.


Natalie Miller voiced her worry by saying, "Why do you always pick the tallest guy? I was like - why, why, why. I always say that. I'm like - you know you don't want to pick somebody smaller than you, so that's fine. But really? Six-eight? Six-eight!"
