Vegas Golden Knights extend winning run after seven straight goals against Nashville Predators

The Vegas Golden Knights remain the dominant team as the NHL season progresses towards the end of the season. At T-Mobile Arena, the knights in golden helmets verified once again why they are one of the league’s hardest teams to restrain, as the entire lineup produced scoring with momentum being raised little by little through every shift. Matches against the Predators have been traditionally tight, but this particular one was soon tilted in favor of the Golden Knights.

Saturday’s encounter was an exact demonstration of how potent the Golden Knights can be when their top players and second liners also come through simultaneously. From the scoring of crucial goals to the professionalism of the goalie, the Golden Knights were able to have an edge over the others at the right moments, while the Nashville Predators were struggling to regain their composure once the match opened up. In a 7-2 win, the Golden Knights netted seven unanswered goals, thereby marking their 7-game winning streak, and now they have a record of 7-0-1 in the last eight games. Mark Stone scored to push his point streak to a career-high 11 games, now totaling 18 points during that span.
All five players: Mitch Marner, Shea Theodore, Cole Reinhardt, Alexander Holtz, and Keegan Kolesar recorded one goal and one assist each, while Akira Schmid made 27 saves. Nashville scored first with Luke Evangelista's effort, but in the second period Holtz equalized, and then Theodore immediately gave the Knights the lead again.

The 20th goal made by Pavel Dorofeyev, who was the leader of the team, at the beginning of the third period opened the floodgates. Stone was next, then Reinhardt, Marner, and Kolesar scored during a great period of play. Filip Forsberg got a goal just before the final whistle to the team’s advantage.

Vegas has very good scoring, and Stone’s consistent performance is the main factor in the team’s separation in the standings. When every line scores, it is almost impossible to stop the Golden Knights.
