A fan page of Sidney Crosby’s posted an image of the star player as he geared up for the match before it began. In the picture that has now gone viral, Sidney Crosby has clenched his jaw as he looks extremely focused on the game that was about to begin. The caption on the picture reads as, “SIDNEY CROSBY IS LOCKED T* IN” and fans are here for it.
A fan wrote, “I saw that and knew we were winning this game”, while another fan wrote, “i knew they were gonna win after that”. A third fan wrote, “I don't think he blinked through that entire shot ����”.
Sidney Crosby was a phenomenal player last night as Team Canada finally won the match against Team USA after suffering a loss last weekend.
A day before the match, Pittsburgh Penguins’ broadcaster Mike Lange unfortunately passed away. Sidney Crosby was pretty close to Mike Lange and as per a post by The Athletic’s Josh Hoye, the star player was taking the death “pretty hard” and this had worried fans.
Hours before the final match, the Pirrsburgh Penhuins released a statement on Mike Lange’s death and it also included words of Sidney Crosby. He said, “Mike made such an impact on the Penguins franchise, and me personally as a player. He welcomed me to Pittsburgh. It was the little things like words of encouragement at my stall after the media had left, a fist bump to acknowledge a big game or a wink for a special moment…”
