Why could these four teams shake up the NHL trade deadline?

The San Jose Sharks are on top of the list after a fantastic ascension in the Western Conference standings. ESPN said on Monday that the Sharks have pulled off a trade with the Canucks by acquiring Kiefer Sherwood, a winger, indicating a brave stance from the General Manager, Mike Grier. The general manager could use the almost $8 million cap space and two first-round picks to combine assets and aim at a long-term piece.
