NHL Insider dismisses Rasmus Dahlin trade rumors after Paul Bissonnette’s statement

The frenzy began when former NHL player and "Spittin' Chiclets" podcast co-host Paul Bissonnette claimed Dahlin had met with Buffalo’s management and expressed frustration over the team’s struggles. According to Bissonnette, the defenseman allegedly warned that if the Sabres didn’t show improvement soon, he would consider moving on.
Given Buffalo’s prolonged playoff drought and struggles to build a contender, the claim quickly gained traction. However, Dahlin himself wasted no time addressing the rumors head-on.
Speaking candidly about the speculation, Dahlin dismissed any notion that he was seeking an exit. “I have never said I want out of here. I’m not happy with where we’re at, I don’t want to lose.
