Fans were convinced that Connor McDavid was drunk when the pictures were taken, and many wondered about what happened to his relationship with his long time girlfriend, Lauren Kyle. However, neither Connor McDavid nor Lauren Kyle ever addressed the speculations around the star player being caught cheating.
A few days after the incident, Lauren Kyle took to her Instagram to share a picture with Connor McDavid and this left fans pretty confused. But it seems like the incident never bothered the two as they continued with their relationship pretty happily.
After dating for several years, the two finally tied the knot in 2024 at a beautiful location. Both Connor McDavid and his wife Lauren Kyle like to keep their personal lives away from the public eye and have posted very few pictures from their beautiful wedding.
Recently, before the 4 Nations Face Off’s final match, Lauren Kyle made a post in collaboration with ESPNW and Katherine Eliss where she spoke about how she met Connor McDavid.
She said, “My, you know who Luke Gazdic is? We’re like kind of on a blind-ish date in Toronto. And then, that was like 10 years ago now, so. It was funny because I like had to like use my ID to get us a bottle of wine because he was like kind of underage.”
