As the veteran forward prepared to lead the Florida Panthers into the NHL playoffs, the veteran was seen unwinding with loved ones in a peaceful off-day retreat.

The NHL playoffs are imminent, but that didn't stop Brad Marchand from squeezing in some sun and swing time with his close-knit family. Rebecca Marchand captured the moment on her Instagram story, affectionately captioning it ‘Great Golf Crew’ tagging @bmarch63, @tillsley19, and @lynnmarchand.
Brad Marchand, playing now as a left winger for the Florida Panthers, has had a first-class season following his extended stay with the Boston Bruins. The Canadian winger is well accustomed to the intensity of the playoffs. Before diving headfirst into the playoff gruelling, however, Marchand took advantage of his day off.
Tuesday evening, Brad Marchand was a force on the ice even in a tough 5-1 defeat to cross-state foe, the Florida Panthers. He tallied the team's only goal of the night, finishing a slick 2-on-1 break with a low wrist shot that trickled past goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy in the second period.
Recharged and rested now, Marchand will play a vital role in the Panthers' playoff run beginning this weekend.

While the Florida Panthers ready themselves for a Stanley Cup run, Brad Marchand's capacity to reset himself both physically and mentally might be the difference maker.
