The New York Jets are waiting for that key player to come on board in Week 7 as newly traded wide receiver Davante Adams looks out for his first possible game action against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Adams was traded from the Las Vegas Raiders to the Jets on Tuesday and has missed the last two games because of his hamstring injury as well as a request that he be traded. He seems to have put those issues aside, saying on The Pat McAfee Show that he believes he can play

While Ulbrich acknowledged that both the hamstring issue and Adams' need to familiarize himself with the Jets’ system are significant factors, his remarks hint that there is a real possibility Adams could suit up for this critical game.
“It’s too early to assess,” Ulbrich reiterated, yet his tone suggested hope for the star receiver's return.
Jets' Playoff Chances Rest on Returns by Adams
With the Jets coming into this game as a must for the Steelers, having Adams will be that game-changer on the field. Everyone was going to check updates on when he would get on the gridiron, in which all those updates leading up to kickoff would have everybody knocking on the door for him. If he is good to go then his debut definitely differs in the Jets' offense in this fight for a key win.
