NFL Stars and Their Families Step Up as Tom Brady Leads $100,000 Donation for Hurricane Milton Victims

Among them is NFL legend Tom Brady, who announced a generous donation of $100,000 to help those affected by the storm. In addition to his contribution, delivery service Gopuff has pledged to match his donation, bringing the total to $200,000 for relief efforts.

Brady also highlighted Gopuff’s initiative to match donations made via their ‘Give With Gopuff’ campaign. "My friends at @gopuff are matching this, along with all other donations made via 'Give With Gopuff,' all benefiting the Volunteer Florida Foundation," Brady continued. He encouraged everyone to keep those impacted by the disaster in their thoughts and prayers, adding, "Stay safe, and stay strong, Florida."
The Volunteer Florida Foundation will be the primary beneficiary of these donations, ensuring that essential supplies such as food, water, and medical aid reach those who need them most.
Brady isn't the only NFL figure showing support. Baker Mayfield’s wife, Emily, took to social media to share an emotional update as Hurricane Milton swept through Florida. She expressed gratitude for the well-wishes from friends and fans and sent out prayers for the community she and her family have come to call home.
Emily Mayfield wrote, "Thank you to everyone checking in on us. Sending prayers for this beautiful place that has become our community, home, and family."

Similarly, Jake Funk's wife, Hannah Ann Sluss, also made a heartfelt plea for donations. In a separate post, she referred to the ongoing hurricane disasters, encouraging people to contribute in any way they can. "I really hope we can all come together as a country to help support these people that need us! Whether you are giving money or donating toilet paper, anything helps," she said.
