The Dallas Cowboys are continuing to stumble on the field, and that fact came at a very expensive price last week against the Giants. A couple of defensive ends - DeMarcus Lawrence and Micah Parsons - were hurt in the game. Parsons should be back by Week 7, and Lawrence will most likely be bound for Injured Reserve (IR). That has sparked rumours of owner Jerry Jones going out and making some moves to shore up his team through trade.

How NFL Players InvestJerry Jones Talks Trade Rumors
Jerry Jones spoke on 105.3 The Fan recently, going over some of the concerns with injuries.
"We're fortunate enough to have these young guys to step forward here." David Moore of the Dallas Morning News reports that Carl Lawson is on board, Marshawn Kneeland was picked up to the 53-man prior to this, however.
Positive News Amidst Challenges
The better news is that the young lad Caelan Carson has overcome his shoulder injury. Executive Vice President, CEO, and Director of Player Personnel Stephen Jones said Carson is good to go in Week 4 against the Steelers. The bigger news, however, is DaRon Bland who is mending but will still take a little time to get back. He is accruing all the advantages from the IR list but he looks like a sharp tool in practice.
Parsons Eager to Get on Field
The Steelers have their problems. Linebacker Micah Parsons does not want to sit Sunday and knows how few games remain in the season.
"I feel like I want to play on Sunday," he said on October 6, according to Essentially Sports.
"If I can play, I will play." Lawrence Faces an Even More Challenging Road Back
DeMarcus Lawrence is on a little tougher road as he's been diagnosed with a Lisfranc injury in his right foot. If he does get taken to the IR list, then he'll miss at least four games, so I'm hoping to see him good as new by Week 9; the silver lining: is maybe he won't need surgery. Jerry Jones believes his team has the potential to regain its past glory, which was witnessed when backup QB Cooper Rush took over following Dak Prescott's thumb injury and led the Cowboys to a 4-1 record through the first five games of the 2022 season.
Owner Jerry Jones is going to be looking to these players on the practice squad to step up and fill holes against other teams' rival offenses.
