People started to wonder why they weren't there, but sources close to the couple say they are just trying to find a balance between their busy careers and their relationship. Swift finished a long, hard stretch of work in 2025. Sources say she has been taking time to recharge while still keeping her strong bond with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

“Taylor’s had an incredibly full, demanding year, and she’s really proud of everything she’s accomplished,” the insider said of 2025. “She’s worked extremely hard and her schedule has been nonstop, but even with everything going on, she and Travis still put a lot into their relationship.”

“[They] really support each other’s careers and understand the demands that come with what they each do,” the source continued. “Whenever they can, they make time to be together and really value that alone time.”

Kelce recently hinted at how deeply Swift influences his outlook on football. Speaking about his decision to continue playing, he pointed to the dedication he sees in her music career.

“It’s just amazing to see her keep going to the table,” he admitted. “Keep finding new things to write about. Keep finding new melodies and things like that. And on top of that, still seeing her have that love and joy in what she does, of course that’s motivating. That’s motivating for anyone to see, let alone you know, [me watching] my fiancée and knowing that I’m going through something where I’m trying to figure out exactly what the future holds for me. Something like that definitely motivates me to say, ‘You know what? I’m not done either. I’ve still got some ideas in the back of my mind. I’ve still got some juice left to play this game.’”
