A few hours ago, popular NFL insider ESPN’s Adam Schefter took to X and posted, “Sources: Chiefs LT Wanya Morris suffered a season-ending knee injury Sunday night vs. the Texans.”
This has sparked panic and concern among fans as the Kansas City Chiefs have already lost the chance to win the AFC West Championship.
However, neither the team, the Kansas City Chiefs, nor the star player, Wanya Morris, has confirmed the speculations as it seems he is fully focused on recovering from the brutal injury.
For the unversed, Wanya Morris sustained a brutal knee injury as he faced the Houston Texans and had to leave the match in the middle with some assistance.
A few minutes later, the Kansas City Chiefs’ star player, was spotted leaving the locker room in crutches, raising eyebrows among fans.
Wayna Morris was later replaced by rookie player, Esa Pole, and while he did give his best on the field, the Chiefs suffered a devastating loss on Sunday night.
However, the Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback, Patrick Mahomes appreciated Esa Pole’s efforts on the field in a post match interview.
Patrick Mahomes said, "Obviously, not where you want to be, but Esa played his tail off, for a guy that had to get activated and be on the roster and go against one of the best pass rushes in the league…”
The popular Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback added, “He gave me time to throw the ball downfield in some big situations."
