Kelce also spoke directly to fans. He said, “It’s exciting times and I’m just ready to get back into the team uniform.” Later, in a message shared on Instagram, he added, “Chiefs Kingdom, let’s go baby, it’s official! Excited for 2026 and just excited to put on a Chiefs uniform in front of you guys again.” He also told fans, “Let’s get Arrowhead rocking baby.”

This new deal means Kelce will return for his 14th season in the National Football League. Just days earlier, on The Pat McAfee Show (March 10), he opened up about why he decided to come back. He said, “We share the same love for what we do.” Talking about Swift, he added that their shared passion played a role in his thinking.

He also made it clear that his love for football is still strong. “I’m still in love with this game. I still love going to work, putting on the pads, grinding it out and just playing the game,” Kelce said.

He explained that staying with the Chiefs felt right because of the team, the coaches, and the environment he trusts.
