Travis Kelce, the highest paid tight end in the NFL, has run into a controversy as the NFL fined him for a whopping $14,069 after he was caught dunking over the crossbar. This incident happened when he was playing against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day and managed to break Tony Gonzales’ records for the maximum touchdowns. However, NFL fans have now dragged Travis’ girlfriend, the billionaire global pop star, Taylor Swift into this as many believe Travis’ fine will be paid by Taylor.

Fans Troll Travis Kelce Saying That Taylor Swift Will Pay His NFL Fine

A fan took to X and posted, “Make his gf pay for it”, another fan wrote, “His billionaire gf can pay it off.” As per Tom Pelissero, Tony Gonzales has said that he is ready to pay the fine for Travis since he broke his previously held record. However, fans dragged Travis’ girlfriend, the billionaire pop star, Taylor, here too.



A fan wrote, “It's okay Tony, the eras tour just ended she has that like how I have pennies”, another wrote, “his girl is a billionaire Tony keep the money lol.”

Neither Travis nor his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, have issued any official statements regarding how Taylor got trolled for the fine that the NFL has penalised Travis with. Many NFL fans think like this because many believe Travis’ relationship with Taylor has increased his popularity and wealth.

Travis won the 2024 NFL Pro Bowl, which requires votes from the general public. A winner gets a whopping sum of money and it also helps him to negotiate better contracts in the next year. Many NFL fans were frustrated that Travis won because they believed Travis had an “average performance” this year and Taylor’s fans voted for him in huge numbers, which ultimately made him the winner.




Regarding the $14.069 fine that the NFL has penalised Travis with, many fans think it was unfair of the NFL to fine such a high amount for a record breaking celebration. A fan wrote, “Lame.
