Travis Kelce's cameo during his girlfriend Taylor Swift's Eras Tour has earned an iHeartRadio Music Award nomination

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been nominated for the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, with Swift receiving 10 nominations and Kelce nominating for Favorite Surprise Guest. Swift, 35, tied country star Morgan Wallen for the most nominations. Kelce, 35, also made his onstage debut during Swift's Eras Tour concert in London last June, joining her for the Tortured Poets Department section of her set. This collaboration by the couple demonstrates how work and play can win awards too.

Travis Kelce land his first iHeartRadio Music Award nomination

Taylor Swift has been nominated 10 times for the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, including one Favorite Surprise Guest. Swift was among those cited for enlisting Kelce for a special moment during her June 2024 concert in London. This means that the pair, who have been dating since 2023, will go up against such acts as Charli XCX and Lorde, Coldplay and Selena Gomez, Jennifer Hudson and Cher and Luke Combs and the Twisters cast among others for their respective stage collaborations in 2024.


Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, 29, were recognized for their walk-on roles during Morgan Wallen's August 2024 show in Missouri, garnering a double honoree award. Kelce and Mahomes accompanied Wallen during his One Night at a Time concert tour and Swift on stage in London two months prior.

On another day, alongside dancers Kam Saunders and Jan Ravnik, Travis Kelce took part in Swift's third Wembley Stadium performance to sing the pantomime bit "I Can Do It with a Broken Heart". He revived the artist when, in "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived", Swift died,with Kelce carrying her across the catwalk.

"It’s very unlike me. I’m not big, I don’t like going on stages. There were a lot of people out there, really didn’t feel at home,” Kelce later said during an episode of his “New Heights” podcast. “I initially mentioned to Tay, I was like, ‘How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989 [section]?’ She started laughing, she was like, ‘Would you seriously be up for doing something like that?’ I was like, ‘What? I would love to do that, are you kidding me?’”


He added, “I’ve seen the show enough, might as well put me to work here. And sure enough, she found the perfect part of the show for me to come in. There was no, like, bike in case I ran into somebody else or hit one of the dancers or anything. It was, like, the safest option.”

Kelce watched more than a dozen of Swift's Eras shows since they started dating, saying performances were "unbelievable." In December 2024, Swift wrapped up her two-year Eras Tour run, and to celebrate she said Kelce organized a surprise "End of an Era" party and wore his stage costume and makeup brush.

Swift's Eras Tour also received iHeartRadio Music Awards nominations for Favorite Tour Style, Favorite Tour Tradition and Favorite On Screen. In addition, she was nominated in the Artist of the Year, Pop Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Music Video and Best Lyrics categories.
