Travis Kelce Says Mom Donna Kelce Needs to Pick a Side—But Will She Turn Her Back on the Eagles?

Travis Kelce hopes his mom, Donna, will fully support the Kansas ... Read More

The Kelce family is once again in the spotlight as the Kansas City Chiefs gear up for Super Bowl LIX. But this time, there’s no “Kelce Bowl” drama—only Travis Kelce chasing his fourth Super Bowl ring while big brother Jason watches from the sidelines following his retirement. And that brings up a new question: Who will Mama Kelce root for now?

Last year, Donna Kelce famously wore a split jersey, half Eagles green for Jason and half Chiefs red for Travis, during their historic Super Bowl matchup. But now that Jason is retired, Travis has a strong opinion on what his mom should wear this time around.

Speaking ahead of the big game, Travis made it clear that he doesn’t want to see any Eagles colors on his mom this time. “I would hope she doesn’t have the split jersey this time,” he said, emphasizing that their family has deep ties to Philadelphia but that Jason isn’t playing anymore.

“Philly leaned in on my entire family for this one. I think she will be wearing red. I think everyone outside Jason and Kylie will be wearing red.”

It looks like Travis is ready for his mom to go all-in on the Chiefs, and considering she’s cheered on both her sons equally over the years, it wouldn’t be surprising if she finally picks a side this time. But knowing Donna Kelce, she could still find a creative way to honor both of her sons while keeping the peace.

Jason Kelce Won’t Switch Sides Either

While Travis expects full Chiefs support, Jason Kelce has no plans to wear Kansas City red. On his New Heights podcast last week, he admitted, “I can’t wear Kansas City red for this one, Trav. I can’t wear it. I can’t bring myself to it.” Instead, he’ll be sporting a New Heights Big Yeti shirt—staying neutral but avoiding any Chiefs allegiance.

Even though Jason won’t be on the field this time, his presence will still be felt. He has become a fan-favorite with his raw and unfiltered personality, and his support for Philly runs deep. Whether it’s chugging beers shirtless at Bills games or passionately defending the Eagles, Jason has never been one to hold back.

With the Super Bowl just days away, all eyes will be on Donna Kelce’s outfit choice. Will she break tradition and go all-in for Travis and the Chiefs, or will she stick to her neutral stance? One thing is for sure—Travis has made his expectations crystal clear!
