The couple missed another Super Bowl championship in New Orleans, with Kelce settling for 39 yards in a 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Rumors about Travis Kelce potentially proposing to Taylor Swift during the Super Bowl were circulating online. However, due to the Kansas City Chiefs' loss, Kelce did not propose. New sources suggest that Kelce and Swift are still on track for engagement, with Kelce's next opportunity coming sooner than expected.


Two sources speculated that Kelce proposed to Swift, with one anonymous person claiming Swift wants to visit multiple European places and a tropical location. "Those close to them actually think [Travis may propose] while they're on vacation," a source told Us Weekly. "They are both on the same page about taking the next step," another source said.

Kelce and Swift are reported to be feeling relieved and contemplating purchasing a home in Kansas City together. "There's no way to have a relationship when they’re all over the place with work," a source said. "It's going to be easier now to find time to go over plans and make sure everything aligns."

Swift and Kelce are currently in a romantic relationship, but it's possible that the pop star may not want to commit to an engagement. “Taylor does feel like Travis is The One, but jumping in is not her style. That’s just not how she does [things],” an Us source told the outlet in December, explaining that the "Fortnight" singer wants to be sure their relationship can last long term. “Marriage is a big deal, and she wants [it to be] forever.” While Swift would “love to be engaged," the couple isn't “rushing it.”
