Tom Brady is preparing for a brief return to the football field through the Fanatics Flag Football Classic later this month. The exhibition was originally scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia and was expected to bring together NFL stars and celebrities for a fast-paced showcase.Now the plan may change. Rising tensions across the Middle East have forced organizers to reconsider the venue. A recent report by Front Office Sports said the event could move to the United States as the regional conflict intensifies, creating uncertainty around the international showcase.The update first came from David Rumsey, who reported that the event “is likely moving to the United States amid the growing regional war.” The report surfaced on March 5, 2026, as tensions in the Middle East continued to escalate.While the venue remains uncertain, the structure of the event has not changed. The Fanatics Flag Football Classic will feature 24 participants split into three teams. Each team will include eight players competing in a short-format flag football game designed for speed and entertainment.Many well-known NFL names have already confirmed their participation. The list includes CeeDee Lamb, Rob Gronkowski, Tyreek Hill, Christian McCaffrey, and Saquon Barkley. Actor and comedian Kevin Hart will host the event and lead the entertainment side of the broadcast.Brady is also involved behind the scenes. His production company, Shadow Lion, is co-producing the event with Fanatics and OBB Media. The NFL has supported the initiative as part of its push to expand flag football globally. The sport is set to make its Olympic debut at the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.This exhibition follows a shorter format.
