“This guy s*cks!”: Pat McAfee’s hilarious jab at Jason Kelce's failed kick challenge on College Game Day

Jason Kelce, the Philadelphia Eagles legend, had a bad day at ESPN's College GameDay, where he sat to watch a college match between the Ohio State Buckeyes and Penn State Nittany Lions in Week 10 of the 2024 college football season. The host was Pat McAfee. Jason competed in a field-goal challenge on the College GameDay program, but his attempts went wide left. Jason Kelce found out early that kicking just wasn't his thing, but older brother Jason tried. He took mighty swings and mostly just to the left, so the kick would often sail wide of the upright. It was a scene ripe for laughter, and mostly McAfee enjoyed Jason's failed attempts.

Patrick McAfee enjoyed Jason Kelce's failed kick attempts

Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce appeared on ESPN's College GameDay show with Pat McAfee in a field goal kicking challenge. On-field Jason Kelce was never there on the field when the former center attempted his kick from 40 yards to send it through the uprights. His first miss did not even hit near the yellow posts and also didn't make the next. The College GameDay guys, especially Pat McAfee, were in complete disarray over his attempts as he failed once more. “This guy sucks!,” McAfee claimed as Kelce’s kicks went astray.

The one-time Eagles center, Kelce, took on a kicking challenge wearing Timberland boots to raise funds for hurricane relief. Despite his misses, the organizers assured that donations would still be made, making the cause significant. Kelce himself took it all in stride. “I’ve got a whole new respect… I suck at kicking, okay!” he said.

The event on College GameDay raised money for hurricane relief, despite Kelce's failed attempts. The challenge was designed to challenge Cal student Daniel, who had previously made headlines for kicking a field goal in Vans. Kelce accepted the challenge, despite his previous struggles, and the event serves as a reminder that even the most talented athletes can struggle with unfamiliar tasks.
